Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on HR-related matters including employment terms, disciplinary actions, and grievance management
- Handle employee grievances, disputes, show-cause, and disciplinary cases from a legal compliance perspective
- Draft, review, and vet MoUs, agreements, and contracts related to academic and HR services
- Ensure HR compliance with applicable labor laws, rules, and regulations (including the Bangladesh Labor Act)
- Review and update HR policies, manuals, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on HR-related cases
- Conduct legal awareness sessions and training for HR staff, faculty, and employees
- Develop SOPs, FAQs, and legal guidance materials for risk prevention and compliance
Educational Requirements
- LL.M. (Master’s in Law) degree from a recognized university
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in a law chamber and/or as an in-house legal professional
- Experience in labor law, HR, or employment-related matters preferred
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor and employment laws
