Position: Phase-in Officer

Job Purpose

The Phase-in Officer will support the implementation and operationalization of new Programme areas during the phase-in period. This role requires strong community engagement, effective coordination with local authorities, and support to programme planning and execution in line with organizational strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the phase-in process of the new Sponsorship Funded Programme areas
  • Support community assessments and engagement with multi-stakeholder groups
  • Facilitate coordination with local government, partners, and community leaders
  • Monitor and report programme activities to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the establishment of operational systems and preparedness for full programme rollout
  • Help in mobilizing resources and ensuring compliance with organizational standards

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • Required minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in community development, programme support, or field coordination
  • Previous experience in development or humanitarian settings is preferable

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work effectively with government and local community groups
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in both Bangla and English
  • Experience with administrative and programme documentation
  • Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork capability
