Terms of Service

By accessing, registering, or using recruitment.bd ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

When you register on the Platform, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

As a registered job seeker, you represent and warrant that: (1) All information in your profile, CV, and applications is accurate and truthful; (2) You will not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity; (3) You will apply for jobs in good faith and respond promptly to employer communications; (4) You understand that recruitment.bd acts only as an intermediary and does not guarantee employment; (5) You agree to share your profile information with employers when you apply for jobs or enable CV Bank visibility.

Employers using the Platform agree to: (1) Post only genuine job vacancies with accurate descriptions; (2) Comply with all applicable labor laws and non-discrimination regulations; (3) Not collect fees from job seekers; (4) Respond to applicants in a reasonable timeframe; (5) Maintain confidentiality of applicant information; (6) Not post discriminatory, fraudulent, or misleading content; (7) Verify their organization identity. We reserve the right to remove any posting that violates these requirements.

Users may NOT: (1) Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; (2) Impersonate another person or entity; (3) Harvest or scrape data from the Platform; (4) Use automated bots or scripts without authorization; (5) Send spam or unsolicited communications; (6) Harass, threaten, or abuse other users; (7) Post discriminatory or illegal content; (8) Attempt to breach platform security; (9) Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (10) Share login credentials with others.

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation of all content, is owned by recruitment.bd or its content suppliers and is protected by Bangladesh and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without written permission. User-submitted content (CVs, profiles) remains owned by users but grants recruitment.bd a worldwide license to use, display, and process such content for platform operations.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (1) The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free; (2) Job listings are accurate, complete, or current; (3) Employers or job seekers will act in good faith; (4) Applying for jobs will result in employment; (5) The Platform will meet your specific requirements. This Platform is in BETA version and may contain bugs or errors. We are not liable for any information posted by third parties.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECRUITMENT.BD, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (1) Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; (2) Loss of data, profits, or employment opportunities; (3) Actions of employers, job seekers, or other third parties; (4) Inaccurate or false information posted on the Platform; (5) Any claim arising from job applications or employment relationships. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless recruitment.bd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (1) Your use of the Platform; (2) Your violation of these Terms; (3) Your violation of any rights of another party; (4) Content you submit to the Platform; (5) Conduct of your job applications or employer relationships.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation or mediation. If litigation is necessary, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees and costs.
